There is no direct public transport link from the airport to the Cappadocia region, which makes transfer planning more important here than at almost any other Turkish airport. Airport Overview

ASR operates from a modern single terminal handling domestic and international arrivals. The airport is well-organised and relatively compact - far less chaotic than Istanbul in peak season.

Licensed taxis queue at the rank outside the arrivals exit. For the Cappadocia run, many Kayseri airport taxi drivers offer a flat rate rather than using the meter - for the long distance involved, a pre-agreed flat rate is normal practice.
