Arab tourism peak (July–August): Uzungöl specifically has extremely high demand from Gulf Arab tourists in July–August - accommodation books early and prices are inflated. Book 2–3 months in advance or avoid this period.
Trabzon city: Less peak-season pressure than Uzungöl. Reasonable availability in summer with 2–4 weeks’ booking lead time.

Airport transfer: Trabzon Airport (TZX) is 7km east of the city centre. Taxi: approximately ₺150–200. The havataş (airport shuttle) runs to the city centre for ₺40–60 but with set departure times.
