What Is Causing the Disruption

The disruptions originate from restricted airspace zones across parts of the eastern Mediterranean and Gulf region, requiring airlines to reroute flights onto longer alternate tracks. Which Airports Are Most Affected

Istanbul Atatürk International (IST): The hub for Turkish Airlines, the worst-affected airport given the volume of long-haul connections. Turkish Airlines has issued multiple operational notices advising passengers to check flight status before travelling to the airport.
